On 30 October 2024, we came together for the presence jour fixe for the ‘Sensorised Surgery’ project – an inspiring day full of valuable insights and new plans for the future! The exciting presentation by the Competence Centre for Digital Research (zedif) on the topic of research data management was particularly enriching. The approaches presented for efficient data storage and utilisation provided us with important impulses that could take the handling of research data in our project to a new level. The subsequent discussion gave us the opportunity to talk directly about challenges and practical applications.
The rest of the day focussed on these topics:
Status reports from the working groups – insights into progress and challenges to date. Each team presented valuable insights that reflected the diversity of the project tasks.
Planning the next steps and goals – We jointly defined specific milestones that will help us to approach the next project steps in a focussed and structured manner.
The outlook for 2025 is promising: we have discussed the next milestones and can look forward to some interesting developments and valuable collaborations in the coming year. It remains exciting and the whole team is highly motivated to master the next challenges.
